Things I Need To Do

I'm making another list!

My husband had been off work for about two weeks and we were working on a list of home improvements. We did get a lot of things done. Some are still in progress that I can work on my own. Others need to wait until the weather warms up! So for now that list is on hold.

The new list is just what I want to get done this week now that my husband is back to work.

This is actually a work in progress list. I expect I will add to it as I think of things my mind has put off for the time being. As I write this post I'm remembering I should complete our tax return and fill out the FASFA for our daughter going to college this fall. I also need to make a grocery list for next week, which I can do anytime since I have our meals already planned through the end of February.

The one thing on that list in the picture that I'm dreading is working on is listing items to sell. I have everything set aside, and I have packaging for a good portion. My goal is to get some of the items listed this evening!!

In addition to my list, I'm going to be unloading the dishwasher each morning, getting a workout in (this is a new must do on my list each day), and doing a general tidy before getting on the computer. The best scenario would also included getting at least one of two items on the list completed each day.

Are you making a list this week? Are you keeping to your routines and habits? Have you added a new task to your routines recently?

  1. Why don't you aim to list a small number of items e.g. 3 or 5? I don't know wht you're selling, you could start with the biggest items - less clutter when it's gone?
I'm trying to, which mostly seems to be sorting through laundry in the morning then again at night. Also putting a load on each day and making sure to get dishes away.

    1. I think you are right Sarah, a few items at a time! It's like the mantra of decluttering. I may end up doing more, but aiming for just a few seems easier. Thanks!

  2. Good luck with the FAFSA! I filled one of those out this time last year and oh it was a horrible mess. Too many weirdly asked questions xD
I don't have a list for this week, as it's not the best week, really, but I do know that having everything wrote out just makes me feel better when I have a lot to do. Without a list, I will flutter from one thing to another and only half finish a bunch of tasks!

    1. Oh you flutter about too! At least I'm not alone. I hope the FASFA isn't too bad. :)

    2. It helps to have the tax forms ready before you start! I had to get ahold of my mom and have her find hers, and then have her enter all my information since only one person can fill it out online...and oh it was messy. :P
