Wednesday 15 - March 18, 2015

The Wednesday 15!

I'm challenging you to find 15 items you can remove from your home, preferably not just basic household trash, but if you must it can count too. Is there a penalty for not meeting the goal? Of course not. One thing is better than none, right? Is there a reward for meeting the goal. Yes, the joy of finding more space in your home for things you love. Notice how you feel letting these items go that you just don't need. Often it is a feeling of satisfaction and peace.

I'm all about the last minute finds for the Wednesday 15 this week. I had nothing until Monday night, which I realize is BEFORE the Wednesday 15, but I usually write my post before Wednesday, so the pressure was there to find some stuff in this house to let go of!

I was even hoping I could just count some items from my daughter's room, but we haven't started on that yet, so that option was out. What happened was I found several things while out in my garage. I was out there to take out the trash and also bring our deck furniture from the garge to the deck. Some items were right out the in open, but I did open dig through a few things, too.

Basket, bird planter, stone decoration, one mower wheel, a extension pole (decide one was plenty), old mower blade, funnel (have two smaller ones) and a cat litter pan (I always toss before we move and we have two).

Ceiling roller covers, brush cleaner, brass plumbing fittings, and a fan balance kit.

I also took down some poultry netting (wire version) from a bush in our front yard, it was already in the trash when I went to take pictures. I will take most of these items to the Habitat Restore, but did toss the cat litter pan! And since it was trash day, I tossed some two expired yogurt containers and an open can of tomato paste that I never got to the freezer.

Another week...another fiften items out the door! How did you do this week?
Could you find 15 items? Less is okay too!

Please feel free to share your Wednesday 15 here in the comments
or on the Organized Friends Facebook page.

  1. If paper clutter counts, I was all on this yesterday! I did a desk clean-up and hadn't realized how many receipts I had chucked in a little cubby. Now I have a lot more empty desk space and oh it's nice! :D
