After a holiday celebration or a gathering with friends, it seems the house, while clean before the festivities started, is messy at the end of the day. Which is overwhelming, right? And maybe you don't have time to do a thorough job, but you can put in a few minutes to make it better!
We don't have guests, although our daughter did just leave to go back to college. There are sheets and towels to wash, but those can wait. It's the kitchen I want cleaned up and the items on the counter put away.
So may I suggest tonight, after dinner or the children are in bed, to take ten minutes to tidy up. It might be the kitchen, or the living room. But just imagine what a few minutes can make on your outlook Monday morning when the messy areas are tidier.
Set a timer and just see how much you can get done! It may take far less time than you think. And let me know in the comments how it went.
