Decluttering Bag by Bag
I found some things in our garage that need to go. We inherited this croquet set from my parents. We haven't used it more than once since we acquired it. I just don't see us getting use from it in the future. I'm also sending off the little metal chair for someone else to enjoy!
The battery pack on the chair is getting recycled, and the items in the bucket are getting donated to the Habitat for Humanity Restore. The truth is we seem to accumulate a lot of leftovers from house projects. And while it is nice to keep some for 'just in case' we actually keep far too much and never use it. I figure if I can replace an item for $20 or less, I can let it go. If we ever do need one of those items, they will be easy to acquire again at that time. I don't want our garage to be over run with stuff we don't use.
Do you weed out your 'just in case' items? What is your criteria for letting them go?
