- Don't buy anything
- If you buy something, know what item you will get rid of to take it's place in your home.
- Use something up (last of the dressing, the laundry detergent...maybe even shampoo.)
If you are super motivated, consider challenging yourself to purge a certain number of things. I've seen a few challenges that refer to 100 items in a weekend! And if anyone does that let me know because I think I'll owe you a double high five. :)
Right now, I think I will just end up using something up. Although, there is a possibility of more paper purging and maybe even some Army gear to get rid of. I'll let you know how I do on Monday!
Does it count if I'm buying groceries and an item I need? xD
ReplyDeleteAnd does it count if I throw away the packaging of things I've already finished? Like the bottle of conditioner in the shower that I've been hoping to get the last little bits of (because I love it but it's too expensive to buy often) and I finally did the other day but totally forgot to take the bottle out of the shower.
...I'm saying it counts! *runs to the shower to chuck it* :)
