2018 Decluttering: My Daughter & Cat Help

In order to meet my goal of decluttering 2018 items this year, I'm going to need to get other family members to help! I happened to catch my teenage daughter on a good day recently and she was quick to pull open a drawer and check her closet.

The result was 16 shirts to donate!!

At one time she thought she might want to make a t-shirt quilt, apparently that no longer has any appeal to her. I'm so proud of her for realizing the idea was no longer interesting and that meant the shirts could be donated.

I also got our cat Liberty to declutter some of her toys. Liberty is 13 years old, which in human years is equal to a 68 year old human! And she really has lost interest in playing with her toys. I tried to get her to help me decide, but she was no help at all. In fact, I think she took a nap while I was explaining the goal to her!

She let go of six toys! She still has seven, maybe less will be more inviting to play with?!

With the help of others, I can cross off 22 more boxes on my 2018 Decluttering Checklist!
Current total 263. Making progress!
