It's that time of year where the summer annuals are drying up. Time to pull them out and clean up!
This year the these yellow flowers were annuals that popped up from last summer! I guess I now live in a climate where annuals live through some winters. When I pulled them out I sprinkled some seeds in the dirt. Maybe new ones will arrive next spring. And I tried growing strawberries in that blue pot this year. The leaves were prolific, but the strawberries were small. I am aware these can take a few years to produce more. I've decided since the odds of moving (again) next summer are high I would toss the strawberry plants.
After cleanup of less than five minutes, I now have this:
I think you might see that mum plant again in a future post. But for now, another item checked off my Getting Things Done list!
It's not too late to make a short list of a few things you definitely want to get done. Then make a plan on when you will do them, such as scheduling them on the calendar. You can check off one per day, or do several in one day. I'm cheering for you!
