Getting Things Done: Sew Gift

What day is it? I'm not sure as I've been busy checking off things on my list for this Getting Things Done series. I hope the series has been encouraging for you to also Get Things Done. Today, I have a fun project, rather than cleaning, to mark off my list.

My lovely niece has requested I sew an item for her birthday in November. I figured October would be a great month to get it done! And lucky for me it is a very simple thing to make.

I used instructions at Two Brown Birds to make a play set of diaper wipes! (If you go to the link, you'll find it is a tutorial for a travel tissue cover.) The wipes are just white flannel cut to 4"x 5". I knocked this out fast!!

I made her and her sister play diaper bags earlier this summer. This fabric matches, at her request, her diaper bag.

I have two other sewing projects that I hope to get done this month, so I left my sewing machine set up in our bonus room. It is now ready for the next project. But before I can sew I need to buy fabric!
