We do not generally stock up on much at our house. Use it, then buy more. I mean we do shop every week, so I can just grab what I need then. It works for us!
I break this rule during the last quarter of the year and have for multiple years now. I stock up on paper goods, personal care items, and cleaners. This keeps me well stocked during an extra busy time, when I have thoughts of sugar plums (or gift buying tasks) on my mind. It also keeps me from needing to make an extra store run, and then find myself tempted to buy an extra stocking stuffer for example. I'm just helping myself avoid the cute holiday temptations that are everywhere in December.
My mini mission today was to make my stock up list!
The items on it vary from year to year. But this is the list for this year. I expect I will be at the store later this week to get all the things. Is it weird to feel excited that I'm about to cross all these items off the list?
Do you normally keep large amounts of these types of products on hand? What would you put on your stock up list to prepare for the holiday season?
