Getting Things Done: Finish A Book

Welcome to my Getting Things Done series!

I have a small small pile of books to read. Piles can feel like clutter. And I prefer to tackle clutter. This means I must read a book this month to begin tackling the pile.

My plan is to take this book with me when I go to pick up my daughter from school. While I wait, I will read. At some point, I'm bound to finish if I keep at it.

I'll let you all know when I finish. Today's accomplishment is just making the plan on how to tackle my reading pile.

Do you have a pile of books or magazines to read? Can you begin to take action and get some of them read? What did you accomplish on day four?

  1. I also have the goal of finishing up a small cross-stitch kit for my MIL for Christmas. It's not easily portable, but it is something that I can do while watching TV. I don't watch much, but when I do, I can at least be productive. And I have it in a woven basket that isn't an eye-sore and is easily movable. Good job on tackling the reading!!

    1. I like combining things that take many sessions with other tasks, such as tv or getting my daughter. Or waiting in a waiting room! Thanks for the encouragement!
