I'm very confident I can beat the timer on this one.
Let's fold some laundry. Just one load or basketful.
The reason I'm confident this takes less than fifteen minutes is because I always do one load and immediately fold it. I don't wait until I have two, three, four or more loads to fold. It takes very little time.
I pull out towels first. Then other large items like shirts and pants. Then I look for underwear and finally I match socks. I end up with folded piles to put away in their designated places.
I should have checked the time when I took the above picture. Maybe just five or six minutes if I had to guess. I watched YouTube while I folded. :) The t-shirts are stacked so I can just pull down some hangers and add them to each shirt and then hang up back up. Some are mine, some are my husband's. We each have a side of the closet, so this method works for us.
Once everything was put away, my phone said I had 4 minutes 38 seconds remaining. I didn't make a point today to find other things to do in my 15 minutes, but I probably could have browsed my hanging clothes or drawers for items to declutter. Even if one or two items caught my attention the effort would have been worth it.
Do you fold your laundry one load at a time, or do you prefer marathon folding sessions? Where do you fold your laundry?
Tell me about what you accomplished in 15 minutes.
